Grahan Trek Information:
The Grahan Trek journey begins at the bridge that connects old and new Kasol. It now follows the left bank of the Grahan Nallah (stream), the highest point of the trek. The slope of the path is gentle, and you are surrounded by the beauty of nature and tall pine trees.
The road also has a few wooden bridges, the second of which marks the halfway point of Grahan. Halfway, you cross the Nallah on a bridge, but the rest of the journey is hilly. After a hard ascent of almost an hour, the settlement comes into view, bringing you to Grahan Village. The residence of Grahan in Kasol is a beautiful hidden secret of Himachal Pradesh, situated at an altitude of 7700 feet above sea level.
The only way to reach this beautiful city is from Grahan, located in Kasol. Walking through the pristine forest with the roar of the Parvati River in your ears is a joy for all lovers of the world. With a population of only 350 people, the area is a must-see for visitors. The trip to Grant City will take about 4-5 hours on average, with a few stops. Itinerary
Day 1: Kasol to Grahan Village (9 km | 4-5 hrs)
The journey to Grahan hamlet starts from Kasol and takes about 4-5 hours to cover a distance of 9 kilometers. Before the bridge leading to Kasol Central Bus Station, the road will start. The routes are marked with red arrows almost everywhere, but there is a high risk of getting lost in the art. During the trip, we pass through the forest, and we sometimes hear the chirping of birds and bees, but one thing will not leave you alone: the river Parvati.
There will be two wooden bridges to cross, and the second will serve as the midpoint of the journey. The hamlets are only visible for the last 150 meters of the walk, but look! Most of these structures are popular, and some are around 200–250 years old. Explore the city and socialize with young people at every corner. In the evening, enjoy your home-cooked meal while listening to the soothing sounds of nature and the warmth of the fireplace.
Day 2: Grahan Town to Kasol (9 km; 4-5 hrs)
Today, get up early to see the sunrise from the amazing Col du Sar mountain range. After a full breakfast, you will drive to Kasol in a comfortable car. The nine-kilometer journey will take you about four to five hours. Take a break at Grahan Nala, refill your water bottle, or just sit back and enjoy nature. Once you reach Kasol, you can rest for the day before continuing your journey.
